A LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDER
Aloha,
I grew up in this business. My family ran a commercial real estate company in Hawaii, and I spent my early years watching how buildings get bought, improved, and passed on. Those years taught me that the decisions made in one generation become the legacy handed to the next.

That's still how I look at every property we take on. Not just as a building to keep running, but as an asset with a future worth planning for.

Some of the owners we work with have held their property for decades and are thinking about what comes next. Others are buying their first building here, or their tenth. The question turns out to be the same either way: what could this property become, and what will it take to get there?

James Augustine is the Founder and Principal Broker of Big Island Commercial Properties. He leads the firm's commercial sales and asset management work, advising owners on what a property could become and what it will take to get there.

Vern Sekafetz is the Property Manager at Big Island Commercial Properties. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the portfolio, keeping properties well-maintained, tenants well-supported, and issues resolved before they become problems.
Tashanna LoSasso is the Director of Sales and Leasing at Big Island Commercial Properties. She guides tenants and buyers through every transaction, carefully matching businesses with spaces that fit their goals and long-term growth plans.
