ABOUT / AMY CARLSON

Amy Carlson is Director of Marketing at Big Island Commercial Properties, the commercial real estate and property management firm headquartered in Kailua-Kona and serving the entire Big Island of Hawaii. A licensed Hawaii real estate agent, she leads the firm's brand, content, and client communications.

Amy has worked in commercial real estate for over 14 years, holds a BA in Communication Studies from Sonoma State University, and is a professional writer whose films have aired on the Lifetime channel. She applies that same storyteller's eye to her work, knowing what story to tell and how to tell it.

At BICP, Amy manages the firm's website, written content, and client-facing materials, as well as photography, video, and social media. She's endlessly creative, always looking for a fresh way to tell the story behind a building or the tenants who bring it to life.

Amy lives in Kona with her two boys, who she loves to golf and game with. In her free time, she enjoys growing flowers in her garden and writing.
