What does Big Island Commercial Properties do?
Big Island Commercial Properties (BICP) helps property owners and businesses with commercial real estate across the Island of Hawai'i. We handle commercial sales, leasing, tenant placement, property management, and asset management for retail, industrial, office, medical, and mixed-use property.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the entire Big Island of Hawai'i, including Kailua-Kona, Waimea (Kamuela), Waikoloa, South Kohala, and Hilo. We're headquartered in Kailua-Kona. If your property is somewhere we haven't mentioned, reach out anyway. We're happy to see how we can help or point you toward the right resource.
What types of commercial properties do you work with?
Retail spaces and shopping centers, industrial warehouses and contractor yards, office buildings and medical offices, mixed-use commercial properties, and multi-tenant commercial buildings. If you're not sure what category your property falls into, we can figure that out quickly.
What qualifies as commercial real estate?
Commercial real estate generally means property used for business, professional, or income-producing purposes rather than residential living. Zoning, permitted use, and how the space is actually used all play a role. If you're unsure whether a specific property qualifies, we can clarify and walk you through the options.
Do you only work with large properties?
No. We work with single-tenant buildings and owner-occupied spaces alongside multi-tenant centers and institutional portfolios. The right approach depends on the property and what you're trying to accomplish with it, not on its size.
