Vern Sekafetz is Property Manager at Big Island Commercial Properties, the commercial real estate and property management firm headquartered in Kailua-Kona and serving the entire Big Island of Hawai'i. A licensed Hawai'i real estate agent, he works directly with tenants across the firm's managed portfolio.

Vern brings extensive retail management experience to his work in commercial property management, including years spent overseeing daily operations, staff, inventory, and customer service in the retail sector. That background gave him a deep understanding of what business owners need to run their operations smoothly and shaped the hands-on, detail-oriented approach he brings to his role.

At BICP, Vern manages tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and capital improvements across the firm's portfolio, and conducts regular property inspections to keep each asset in top condition. He's a hands-on manager who prefers to see tasks through himself, and tenants know him as a responsive, reliable point of contact.

Vern lives in Kona with his wife, their two young children, and their French bulldog, Zoey. When he's not managing properties or fine-tuning bikes, you'll likely find him exploring the island with his family.
