The CCIM designation is one of the most respected credentials in commercial real estate and is held by fewer than 10% of professionals in the industry. Our Director of Sales and Leasing, Tashanna L.K.O. LoSasso, is currently a candidate for the CCIM designation.
CCIM stands for Certified Commercial Investment Member, a designation awarded by the CCIM Institute to professionals who complete advanced coursework in financial analysis, market evaluation, investment strategy, and ethical business practices. In addition to passing an exam, candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of qualifying transactions.
In pursuing CCIM certification, Tashanna is already applying the knowledge she's gaining through the program to her daily work with buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants. What does that mean for our clients?
Stronger Investment Insight
CCIM adds several financial tools to the toolbelt of certified agents to evaluate commercial properties based on cash flow, risk, and long-term return, so agents can help clients make informed, strategic decisions.
Data-Driven Market Analysis
CCIM certified agents get advanced training in analyzing local market trends, demographic data, site viability, and key insights for business owners and investors.
Deal Structuring and Negotiation
Through the program, CCIM agents learn in-depch methodologies for how to structure leases and purchase documents to reduce risk and maximize value, always with the client's best interest in mind.
Commitment to Ethics
The program also involves sophisticated agent training for how to navigate deals when they must stand up for what's right while advocating for their client's best interest.
By pursuing CCIM certification, Tashanna reflects her continued commitment to growth and excellence in commercial real estate. As she progresses through the program, Tashanna is continually incorporating the advanced skills and tools she learns to further elevate her client service.
